With the success of the first round of STEAM@Soybean in 2018, this education project was re-launched in Feb 2019 as STEAM@Soybean2019, and has successfully recruited 14 local secondary schools as participating schools. A teacher workshop was organised on 19 February 2019 to kick-start the new round of project. Prof. Hon Ming Lam first introduced the outlook and the aim of this innovative STEAM education Project, while Ms. Ling Wong from Prof. Lam’s Lab introduced to teachers the basic cultivation knowledge of Soybean. We were also honored to have Mr. Siu Lun Chan from Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department to gave us valuable tips on growing soybean in Hong Kong.
